About Alex Euripidou

Most careers advice is written by people who have never worked inside the system they are describing. I have. I came up through Australia’s elite career pipeline, and I built this to teach how it actually works, not how the careers office says it works.

The advice that gets handed around is vague on purpose. “Network.” “Follow your passion.” “Just apply.” It leaves out the part that decides everything: the mechanics. Which firms recruit from which universities. What WAM gets your resume read and what gets it binned. When applications really open, not when the calendar says. Why some paths pay triple others for similar work. That is what I cover, because I have seen it from the inside.

I have mapped more than 1,000 individual career paths for students and early-career professionals across investment banking, management consulting, law and technology. Some were at target universities. Plenty were not. The through-line is simple: breaking into an elite career is a system with rules, and once you can see the rules, the whole thing stops looking like luck.

Everything on this site comes from inside that system. Firm-by-firm databases. Real application timelines. WAM and cutoff data. The frameworks I use in one-on-one mapping sessions. The free guides break down each track. The playbooks go deep on one. The one-on-one work is for people who want their exact situation mapped end to end.

I am based in Sydney, and most of what I publish is built for the Australian market first, though the frameworks travel.
